About the stereo images
The stereocopic images that these thumbnails link to were taken with a stereo camera and can be viewed in 3D. The pictures are slightly different views of the same scene, and when fused by your eyes and brain, become three dimensional.

Some people find it easier to parallel view, while others prefer cross viewing, so the images have been displayed in triplet to facilitate both. The left pair are for parallel viewing. The right pair are for cross-eyed viewing.

Parallel-Viewing means your left eye looks at the left image, and your right eye looks at the middle image. Stare at the two images on the screen, but focus far away. When it appears that there are three images, concentrate and focus on the "middle" one.

Cross-Eyed Viewing means your right eye looks at the middle image, and your left eye looks at the right image. While staring at these images, try crossing your eyes. When it appears that there are three images, concentrate and focus on the "middle" one until it become 3D.

Be careful to keep your head level, (especially the side to side tilt). It may take a little practice, but most people can eventually get it.
